Sally Boarding the Coast StarlightWow, somewhere along the way I missed a post or two for this trip. I actually had a huge amount of trouble trying to mass-upload images to the Gallery so I’ve resorted to uploading everything to Facebook for now (kinda killing several birds with one stone).

Ok, here’s the synopsis of what we’ve been doing since last Wednesday (actually Thursday morning…):

Ok, so this next post is covering Monday through Wednesday – chock-full of stuff that is interesting to us and our family and maybe noone else. (yes I did use a smiley there…).

Monday:

  • Sal and I woke up early and walked to Starbucks in the fog for a coffee and some “us” time. A great way to start the day in Victoria. (more…)

147.jpgThis is going to be a quick update since it is 11pm PST which means 2am EST (which means I’m one tired and minorly jet-lagged person).

Here’s a synopsis of the first 2 days:

We are leaving on our “West Coast Epic” tomorrow morning and I just checked the weather in Victoria (our first destination)…. it’s not looking great:

Victoria Weather 09-21-07

Not that we really care too much about the weather when we are out there, I hope it doesn’t rain the entire time…

So we are finally doing a trip this year. We’ve been wanting to do something fun and semi-epic for a while now and this September is the time. We have been meaning to do a trip like this but have always stumbled on many factors including money. Now money is always an issue, but it is less of one now (or at least we are worrying about it less now).

We are planning a West Coast of North America whirlwind: Basically hitting 6-8 Cities in just over 10 days, including Victoria, Vancouver, Seattle, LA and Vegas. We are flying out of YYZ (Toronto Pearson International Airport) in the morning of September 22nd and returning sometime (probably on a flight from Vegas to Toronto) on Thanksgiving weekend (October 6-8th). It’s gonna be tight for time, fast, furious and fun as hell.

I have a Google Map created to outline our destinations: (more…)
