I find this video extremely inspirational. Does that make me odd?

Itâ€™s just so cool to me that someone can travel around the world and do something so seemingly trivial, yet produce something that is wholly inspirational and profound. That being said, you either love this or hate this and if you are the latter then ignore the sentence above.

This guy (we’ll call him “Matt“) has a great “modern” success story that proves that the whole Social Networking /Bookmarking /Media thing really works. Basically he traveled around the world and recorded himself doing his dance at different locales around the globe for fun. When he returned, he had lots of play on the social networking sites (I found this one on good ole YouTube) which eventually led to a Gum company (the kind you chew) hiring him to do a second trip to create another video on said Gum Company’s dime…..strangely enough he agreed to it (note to other Gum Companies out there….I can dance poorly as well).

Update: His old site has been revamped and Web 2.0′d up (Google Map, Blog, more vids etc.) and it looks like he has another travel gig and possibly some love coming from Google directly….lucky sod.
